With its sleek black “mask” stripe running diagonally from its snout through its eye and along its back, it looks like it’s always in stealth mode, ready to sneak around the substrate with its gang of fellow Corydoras.

• It only grows to about 2 inches, but don’t let that small size fool you – it’s full of energy and charm!
• These peaceful bottom-dwellers love to hang out in groups, zipping around the tank like a synchronized dance troupe.
• They’re like tiny underwater vacuum cleaners, constantly sifting through the sand for snacks (and sometimes looking like they’re gossiping while doing it).

Care Level: Easy peasy! Just give them soft sand to protect their delicate barbels, clean water, and some buddies to shoal with (they’re way happier in groups of 5 or more).
