What is Spiderwood?
Spiderwood is a natural aquarium wood known for its thin, twisting branches that spread out in all directions, giving it its distinctive “spider-like” appearance. It’s a popular choice for aquascaping because its branching structure creates a beautiful, natural-looking focal point and provides lots of places to attach aquatic plants and mosses.

Spiderwood can be used on its own or paired with mosses, Anubias, Bucephalandra, and other epiphytes.

• Great for planted tanks, shrimp tanks, and community aquariums
• Perfect for attaching mosses and epiphytes
• May initially float until fully waterlogged
• May develop a harmless white/biofilm coating when first added to the aquarium

Preparation:
We recommend soaking or boiling Spiderwood before adding it to your aquarium. This helps the wood become waterlogged and can release some of the initial tannins. Tannins may temporarily tint your water a light tea color — completely normal and harmless.

Please Note: Spiderwood is a natural product, so variations in color, texture, and shape are expected. Any small imperfections are part of what makes each piece unique.
